What's The Point? [week 17] // Remember Your Creator

Jun 1, 2025    Frank Park

In our journey through Ecclesiastes, we're reminded of life's fleeting nature and the pursuit of wisdom. Solomon, the wisest fool in history, teaches us that true wisdom often lies in restraint and careful consideration. We're encouraged to look before we leap, think before we speak, and finish before we celebrate. These practical lessons remind us that while we live 'under the sun,' our perspective should be guided by the One who lives 'above the sun.' The message challenges us to examine our lives, marriages, and priorities. Are we practicing delayed gratification? Are our lives in order? These questions prompt us to reflect on where we might need to exercise more restraint or take bold steps of faith. Ultimately, we're reminded that our trust in God should lead to action - it's not enough to simply profess faith; we must live it out in tangible ways.
