At TOV, we believe it is wartime and in the midst of battle, we need wartime volunteers to help get as much Bible teaching to as many people as we can! Our teams are growing and there are a lot of great opportunities to find community and serve at TOV. Check out our teams and sign up below!
TOV KIDS
At TOV we believe in Jesus and fun! We serve children from the time they can walk through 5th grade. The TOV Kids Ministry has close to 50 volunteers who love to teach kids about the truth of Jesus in the most exciting and creative ways. The curriculum we use is called The Gospel Project. The Gospel Project lessons are heavily steeped in scripture, and every lesson is reviewed and edited by our Children's Director to ensure that nothing but absolute truth is being presented to the children. Our goal is for children to experience the love of Christ while having as much fun as possible!
WORSHIP TEAM
As a Worship Team, our goal is to support the overall vision of TOV Church. Put simply, we want everything that we do on stage, every Sunday, to point to the person of Jesus. It is all about giving God the glory He is worthy of and preparing people's hearts to dive into His Word. In everything we do, we will do our very best, but will never put performance over praise and adoration for Christ. Our people need a great time of worship, not a great show.
Production Team
Behind the scenes, it takes a team to make sure that in the room or online, service happens with as little hitches, hiccups and mishaps as possible each and every Sunday. Like many of our other teams at TOV, the Production Team has many different responsibilities, each fitting a different skill set and calling to serve. From running the sound board to the lyric and sermon slides in the room and operating the camera for the live stream online, there's a place for you to fit in with us here!
Creative & Communications team
The Creative and Communications Team is responsible for creating and upholding TOV Church's brand over all platforms and mediums. We as a church have specific values that we aim to represent through everything we do. By using our God-given gifts, we help Pastor Frank and TOV Church expand its reach and attract people, with the ultimate goal that they meet Jesus! Our team's functions include social media, weekly slide creation, photography and other creative aspects.
Welcome Team
First impressions can mean everything. Our Welcome Team strives to be a great representation of TOV and to leave all of our visitors with a clear understanding of who we are, what we're about and all we have going on. We want everyone to feel engaged and welcomed right from the start. Calling all social butterflies, this team is for you!
Hospitality Team
Our Hospitality Team encapsulates the welcoming and generous hearts of our people. We want our people at TOV to be taken care of and to be able to enjoy the community we continue to build. If you have the heart for serving and making others feel right at home, consider joining this team!
Events Team
Easter, Christmas, Baptisms, Mother's Day, Father's Day...THE LIST GOES ON! There's so much to celebrate at TOV and we want to make each one of these occasions feel special for our people. Enter the Events Team! This newly formed team helps to take care of the details of the day. From planning and coordinating vendors and gifts, to decorating and hosting depending on the event, this team has a hand in it all.
set up / tear down team
With all that we have going on at TOV, both on Sundays and throughout the week, it takes extra hands to be able to reconfigure the room(s) to meet the needs of the ministry groups using them. Even when we are operating out of our own permanent location, we will still have a need to ensure our spaces are set up in an optimal way, so the need for volunteers in this space will not go away. All our welcome to join this team, but let us make a very "TOV" statement...young men, you should be first in line to sign up!
